thud not starting

Hey returned after some months of diablo break,

And cant seem to make thud work again.

Steps I took:

-extracted all files into empty folder
-renamed the exe
-checked the allowed bock, since it came from unknown source
-checked always run as admin
-put the folder and exe into the white list of windows defender (even deactivated the real time scan to make sure)

-started the exe

-> nothing happens
-> in taskmanager you can see that the process just goes away after 2 seconds
-> no exceptions file in logs

OS: Windows 10 Pro 64 Bit Version 1703


Did i miss anything?

Check to see if D3 is set to run in -> 32bit mode or not.

If it is checked, uncheck it to have it load in 64bit mode and try HUD again. If that fails, you can try the-> 32bit version

but you'd probably be better off getting 64bit to work because who knows how long 32bit will be supported.

Make sure D3 is running first, preferably at character select, THEN run TH.
Also make sure you are clicking on TurboHUD.exe and not TurboMGR.exe.
And make sure you are using TH x32 on D3 32bit client, or x64 on 64bit.

Most likely it's defender or any other AV if the process vanishes after few seconds. See if config.xml has been created. If not you have to find out how to completely exclude an exe and the whole TH folder from AV.

Damn i totally forgot d3 has already to be running for this to work.

Yeah works fine now.

What about playing with thud on ptr? It says cant detect battle tag.

There is no version available for PTR.
