Farming Sanguine Hibiscus

Every alchemist wants reputation with Sporeggar, the Transmute Earth to Water recipe is very welcome if you need cash. However it requires Revered reputation. You might (like me) want the pet they give out.


You can get reputation in 4 different ways:
1. Quests
There are a few non-repeatable quests you can do that will bring you some mild reputation
2. Kill Nagas
You can kill 24 nagas for 750 reputation. Thats good rep if you are an AoE class.
3. Gather Fertile Spores
You can gather 10 Fertile Spores for 750 reputation. They have a mild drop chance and are used to make the Sporeling Snack. Not the best choice

4. Gather Sanguine Hibiscus
You can gather 5 Sanguine Hibiscus for 750 reputation. These exist only in Underbog, and you can pick them out of the ground. You dont need to be an Herbalist do it.


Rogue and druids are the perfect class to do the job. They can stealth through the instance gathering all the Hibiscus. And the best part is that they respawn while you are inside the instance!
If you ever attempted farming this rep-giver, you know that when you reach the ramp up leading to the second boss you need to stop, the stealth-seeing guards wont let you through.
There is one class that can do it: Subtlety Rogue!

Only a subtlety rogue can get to the other side, and i will explain you how.

1. Climb the ramp


2. Hug the right wall


3. Cross to the right area



4. Get as near as possible, if they turn to where you are, move back


5. Distract the mobs


6. Sap the mob closest to you.


7. Target the indicated mob. If they are moving away from you, its the mob sitting on the right. Keep the guard sapped


8. Let them get closer


9. Stay in this position. Here you have LoS and you are in range. Use shadowstep as soon as they pass near you


10. When in the other side, just go get the other hibiscus



11. When you reach the last boss, turn back. Some hibiscus will have respawned.

There is a second way to cross to the other side:
*WARNING*STILL UNDER DEVELOPEMENT (aka needs to be tested)*WARNING*
1. Get in front of the guards. Far away enough to not be seen.
2. wait untill the patrol heads down
3. Leave stealth
4. Use evasion
5. Use sprint and run past them
6. Focus only on getting as far as possible from the guards
7. When sprint ends, vanish
