Changing your character name, Roleplay realms only.

I've done this 2 maybe 3 times now, it's really straight forward and all you need to know is the naming policy for roleplay realms.

Basically, quite a few names aren't allowed on Roleplay names, the main rule is "Non-Medieval/Fantasy Character Names".. So if you have a name like "pwnagemage" etc you can easily get this changed - But if you DON'T have one like that here's my way of changing it.

Simply, have a friend report your name (with a ticket) for non-RP name. USUALLY they don't even investigate the name, but if they do make up something like it's a name of a bunch of racist people from the 1800's and you find it offensive to see the name - 99% of the time they'll have that user change their name - Easy

tryed this long time ago with a friend named : snakeprotect , and the GM didn't want to change his name

um, you can soon pay 10 bux for it if your that hard up to change a name.

This works well for other realms I believe, tried it in two PvP realms I have played so far. TBH, it all depends on the GM's mood and stuff I guess, since they have the capability of doing it.

For instance, the name "Darkspite" (No, this is not me, I do not know this person, and no, none of them are on my realm) could be reported because it is implying the person hates black people. Or, the name "Greenday" (Once again, what I said above) could be reported for having a copy righted name, blah blah blah, which in that case, they will have to change your name. (In theory)

I tried just about everything I could think of to trick a GM into changing my names and all of them /fail. I'm glad the $10 option is coming soon, I'm so sick of that ONE character
