A better option to make gold for you alchemist (you can also just buy these thinngs off the AH) out there would be to start stocking up on skyfire diamonds for the new chaotic skyfire diamond Chaotic Skyfire Diamond - Items - World of Warcraft

Another good thing to stock up on is lightning eels. There is a rare cooking recipe from the new cooking daily missions called storm chops. Which utilizes these once worthless fish to give you a food buff that gives you a chance on being struck to do lightning damage to attackers. Great for pvp, tanking ect. Seems to work like the proc on the lv60 Epic Skullflame shield.

For those who don't know, these can be fished from lakes that require 250ish skill. The lake in the center of Azshara is one example, and they seem to drop more during daylight hours. Also, once I was fishing while it was raining in Azshara and they were dropping like crazy, but this may have just been a coincidence.
