If you have to do 5km or 10km to hatch an egg...

easy trick to to hatch it quicker.

turn it on
jump into your car and make sure to drive under 15MPH and it will consider you walking


It count towards your total distance

Or put it on your dog or ride your bike. Wouldn't recommend driving a vehicle while playing this game..

i wouldn't either.just have the screen unlocked and put it in the passanger seat

Just make sure you are driving 15MPH / 24KPH or less otherwise it doesn't count as walking. Bike riding is perfect

ive been conducting research into this, its not as cut and dry. people have been reporting that it will cut out at jogging speed.try it and see,

Best way is to put your Phone with the App active on a Toy-Train (e.g. Lego Train) and let it drive all way long from one side of your flat to the other. Hatched many eggs that way already. But my flat isn't that long, so it takes a while.
But a positive thing is, you can play another game or do sth else than actively hatching your eggs.

I made it quite easy.
Got a programmable RC Car (Arduino Chip)
Coded a route it should drive.
Went to a empty area and made it drive in a circuit for few minutes.
Made 4km in 10 minutes
