they are not screening mpqs, it is a misconception. Model Editing is safe.

o sry i got that from a post a guy said he got ban because a gm caught himmodel editing and they said they were scanning mpq's or somthin

He was using Model Editing to gain an Un-fair advantage over other players...

He was either seen and reported by another player, or a GM saw him and was reported that way, either way he was most likely using it in a stupid way....
