New model switcher seeks advice and guidance

I am in the process of changing my female Draenei into a male forsaken.

I have encountered a couple difficulties, namely, the version of modeleditfix seems to not work. I paid close attention to the instructions and followed them as best I could.

I was wondering (if it exists) if someone could post a link, or point me in the right direction towards that file (or whatever I need) to use my new model(s) properly.

Also, just to verify, as I am new at this... I just take the (for example) "patch-8.mpq" and move it into my data folder, correct? If that is incorrect, please tell me where it needs to go.

Yes, you should move your .mpq files into your data folder and use the Model Edit Fix.Exe to run WoW with edited models.

Atm we use this Fix, http://www.mmowned.com/forums/model-...ix-thread.html
download it and put it into your /wow/ directory. After having it in, you have to doubleklick it. A black window appears and a few seconds later, also WoW. It will navigate you to your log in screen where you have to press END. Then log in, like you always do. While WoW tries to connect to the server, press HOME ( this is above END ) and you're able to log in with edited models. Thada!

You would have to select the "1" in the how-many-rep-do-you-want-to-give-box. But since its Rep Power: 0 on you ... you cant spend rep yet.
