Mr fishit 5.4.2 issues

I have used mrfishit forever I quit for awhile and I downloaded the correct version, started WoW in dx9,ran as admin have all the right software and still I get an error saying

System.Exception: Unable to hook EndScene, please make sure you are running wow with DX9
at #Ls.#Ks.#us(#21b #vs)
System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
at MrFishIt.Forms.FormRibbonMain.Button_start_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e)

Now I am not asking like i have not looked, and looked for an answer myself. I have currently searched for 3 hours.. all that I see is "RUN IN DX9"... I am.. what could be the issue? I am playing a Private server could that be the issue? never had a problem before.

Yes the server I am playing is patched to 5.4.2

Did you follow these steps?


Make sure you have Net4.0 installed.
Makes sure you have Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86) installed.
Make sure you start the 32-bit version wow (“wow.exe”) not wow-64.exe!
Make sure World of Warcraft is started as Administrator and that it is set to use DX9 not 11!
Make sure MrFishIt is started as Administator
