Loads of gold fast

As most of you know 2.2 brought a lot of new recips etc. , i knew that fter reading patch notes, and also read that there would be some new ones from violet eye, so i figured i might as well just log outside teh vendor that sells the recips.
After downloading and logging in i vent for the vendor, and bought the recip, that was when i realised that all the recips there are BoP, but this one wasnt! ( Recipe: Flask of Chromatic Wonder - Items - World of Warcraft , not out on thottbot yet) so i just thout that il might as well buy like 10 of it since it costs 1 gold or sumthing anyways.

I went to shattrat with the recips and sold them, like, wtf, is a brand new flask!

I asked for bids, and there were bids in 150, 140, 120 etc. comming in fast, so i was like wtf owned, sold all the recips to ppls and earned 1200 gold lol do this fast before it is common knowledge that the recipe is vendor bought.

(plz dont flame i searched but didnt find any posts + sry for loads of mistypes had to write thisin a hurry im at school atm just wanted the news out to the people!)

EDIT: ok i got there but u need stupid rep to buy the recipe xD, u need to be honored i think with the violet eye... also the vendor is just outside karazhan for those who dont know (but if u are honored with them then u should know!)

aah sry i didnt include the thing about the rep in my post, should have done, just kinda figured honored is something everyone is, as i am exhalted with my preist, revered with lock and almost revered with druid alt

I don't think this was a repost... but it looks to be about the same strategy as with the Consortium JC recipe...

To my understanding, you need to be honored with The Violet Eye in order to use the recipe... so you're selling an item purchased at a vendor that most people aren't aware of yet that they may or may not be able to use depending on their reputation with TVE?

Just wondering if that's about right.

Should be about right. I tried this, and failed hard when advertising in trade chat but Ive actually sold 2 (putting up 1 at a time) on AH for 60g each so far. They cost about 1g to buy from the vendor so thats a 6000% profit right there.

I did bogth that at ah for 90g, totaly worth the money since im not honored with karazan yet , when i saw this recipe before patch i thogth that i needed to farm rep to get it, trying to collect all recipe there is to collect. there is allmost 200 with cauldron and i got 185 or somthing

I know that hurt. I've done worse tho, soem stuff I feel pretty dumb about for a 2 year player with 2 70's, a 64, and way too many damn 50 and under lol.
