It costs a lot more to get a laptop to high standereds than it does for a desktop. My bro has a laptop with the same systems specs as mine and you can feel a huge difference. I say go with desktop unless your gonna travel a lot... you save a ton of money and it works a lot better. But thats just my opinion
also whatever you do don't get a mac... macs suck at everything... if you do make sure you get one of the newer ones with the intel processors so you can duel boot it with either windows or linux.
And make sure it at least fits the new system requirements for burning crusade... as soon as BC comes out im gonna have to get 1g of ram or die of lag in IF
It'd be nice to know the price ranges your working within?
Other than that, roll Lappy
LOL yea that might help XD umm around the 2,000 area, but maybe more. It'd be nice to know the price ranges your working within?
Dont buy computers made by Compaq and Dell and companies like that cause ull regret it later (belive me.. im usin a compaq) Buy parts and build it on ur own u usualy get manuals and such with the parts for first time builders and it gets cheaper... if u still feel like u can be bothered building it by urself find some small companie building computers on their own... if anything breaks its cheaper to buy new parts for custom build computers then for Compaq and Dell computers.Last tips from me: try make some friends there so u might be able to get some discount in the future and DONT get a laptop... they cost way more if u need one for gaming and its hard to get ppl make u a custombuild laptop then a normal desk one hope u found this usefull...
if not i just wasted 20 mins writing this
thank you very much! ill look into how to go about buildin my own etc. and dont worry, you didnt waste ur time
np's, glad i could help u and gl (i dont think ull get that much of a problem building the computer on ur own since (if i remember right) the manuals are detailed enough to make me understand em )
