Have a few ideas on how to dupe items (possibly via trade or mail) but need a partner

So my idea involves blocking certain parts of your connection while doing a trade or mail, so that either your comp doesnt see anything happen but the server does (block incoming) or that the server wont see anything while you do (block outgoing), then quickly opening the port back up. I think the game will get the new data from you saying you still have the item and therefore keep it.

I wanna try it out, but need someone to trade with. PM if interested

Exactly, I don't see why the tricks of yesterday wouldnt work today. May need some tweaking but Im sure there is something to be found here. So far the only thing Ive been able to do with it, is teleport (just on other peoples screens)... but thats not really useful except pvp

yeah if you can avoid a desync you can pretty much get around like we did in the original killzone through moving while lagged. heh, it worked so well in kz that people would accuse me of pulling even when I was only lagging, though I did pull quite often on some maps mainly the large open ones like the beach.

Doesn't work. Inventory is stored server side. If you send the request twice the server will just ignore that request. (Tested with desycn and nopping the send/recv function).
