Request - How to maximize gil

What are people doing to get the most gil?

Right not seems (for me anyway) to sell shards. Wind/Fire are going for 65 a pop on my server. And picking up about 1500 shards per hour its not bad gil, but wondering if there are better methods?

I make around 500-700k a day botting 8 hours.

How can I improve this?

500-700k a day isnt bad.

Botting 8 hrs for me only nets about 300k on my server. all the shards are usually between 35-45 gil each .

Just an idea, but maybe you can find a high demand item that crafter's need and farm a certain group of monsters for it on another account, or just set up a small bot farm 3-5 computers doing the shard stuff, that is how you upscale things. The big studios sometimes run clientless bots which do not require the client running at all and you can spawn like 300 instances on one machine.

A custom client isn't something you just "do". It requires complete reverse engineering of the default game client and is worth several thousand dollars, depending on the popularity of the game and it's potencial to earn money from.
