    Simple Wow Morpher for x86

I decided to put this in its own thread.

Due to the lack of public morphers for x86 i decided to share mine:

Current supported Wow build: 5.1.0.16357 (x86)

    Features:

    1. Morph Player
    2. Change Scale (buggy -- will revert if you change forms or mount)
    3. Change Title
    4. Morph Mount
    5. import/save custom item sets
    6. support for enchants

    Download:

Removed due to the user being hacked repeatedly.

    old:

    removed.

    Requirements:

    .NET Framework 4.5

    Bugs:

If you post here about any crashes or bugs please include the Operating System that your trying to run this on as well as some detailed information on the error (i.e did it crash as soon as it was run, after attaching to wow, while trying to morph etc.)

This will not work on x64, also ensure your running the program as Administrator.

Programs which add overlays (i.e Fraps/Mumble) may cause wow to crash when you try to attach.

    EDIT: added new update.

    --update 7
    • persistent morphing should *hopefully* no longer crash after load screens.

    --update 6
    • fixed an issue that caused it to crash if there was no instances of wow open
    • fixed the persistent morphing performance issues, should run smoothly regardless of what your delay is set to.
    • added support for custom shapeshift forms (options > misc) - included a sample file to handle druid cat forms. (note: this should work for *all* forms not just druids. i.e ghostwolf for shaman or demon form for warlocks provided you use the correct id.)
    • added support for custom weapons to handle weapon swapping (works just like druid forms).
    • added a tool to get your current display id and/or your current target display id.

    --update 5
    • added a delay for persistent morphing (for performance reasons).

    --update 4
    • added support for pet morphing

    --update 3
    • persistent morph now has more options (i.e you can do just player, or player + items etc.)

    --update 2
    • fixed issue with morphing tabards.
    • you can now un-morph an item by morphing it as 0.
    • mount should now apply even without persistent morphing enabled.

    --update 1
    • added persistent morph feature

Good thought on making your own thread, sometimes it can get a bit confusing while looking for updates to a program while it is in another thread.
Bravo and keep up the good work.

A virus scan from VirusTotal or a similar website is required for all releases.
The statement below this is a lie.
The statement above this is true.

There's no persistent morphing yet, i'll add it soon, current implementation isn't working the way i want it to (small chance of crash on load screens).
also forgot to mention that mount is broken. fix that soon too.

    update:

    simplemorpher.zip (scan: https://www.virustotal.com/file/f9f0...is/1355531085/)

-- added a persistent morph feature, enable/disable it under options.

should *hopefully* not crash during load screens but in the mean time i'd suggest not using it for Arena/RBG's until its been fully tested.

Thanks for the update! A few things I noticed with the most recent update:

Changing tabard under item morphing will change shirt and vice versa.
Morphing mount does not work without persistent morph on.

Loading screens while persistent morphing is on has not caused me any crashes on WinXP 32bit (SP3).

One thing I'd like to see would be the option to unload item morphs as the best method I found of doing this was to unload Simple Morph and relog.

    Will +rep when possible.

What exactly do you mean? are I made it so if you set an item to 0 it will un-morph that slot.

edit: nvm i see what you mean by this, ill see what i can do.

    </configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception

Are fasmdll_managed.dll and simplemorpher.exe in the same directory? Are you running as Administrator?

Yes i'm doing all this. Confused to why it's not working. Would the fact that im running a x86 os on a x64 cpu make a difference?

I think its more to do with windows 8, I don't have any machines running win8 to test.

could you try this build: simplemorpherx86.zip

let me know if it works.

Is anyone else using windows 8 able to confirm if it's working or not?
