So I've managed to write a quick bot that can retrieve auction house prices from Diablo 3. Problem is my bot currently works by assuming certain patterns in memory (such as item contents and seemingly consistent offsets). I could improve this and make the bot less error-prone by scanning the addresses that link to the items. Problem is I would need to rely on pointer-scan feature of CheatEngine for that, and from reading about it (I could be confused here) it seems like that relies on memory injection. I'm ok with reading memory, but I don't want to be detected by Warden. While I do understand that none of this is 100% safe, I figured I'd ask how likely am I to get detected for pointer scanning?
Thanks
