    Identifying if a weapon is a 2hander?

    Anyone have any good ides?
    Apparently the d3Attributes doesnt work very well here

    Ye that was my initial thought aswel.. No luck there At least not on the axe I tried.. neither aAxe2H did work..
    And checking modelname for matches of 2handers... well ye, thats what Im doing now. Not very nice

    what are you guys talking about? you can see attributes before identifying?

    I dont know about that. Im just trying to figure out a good generic way for my bot to know if he needs both hands to wield a weapon or not : P

    If you don't know any developing mafiaclan you shouldn't post here. No offense, if you just had a brainlag.

    It's just about finding out if a weapon is a 2hander or not. You can only do so, if the item is already identified of course.

    I did a diff of all the attributes of a 1hander and a 2hander. Nothing pops out there... So I think you may have to resort to game balances (something I never really looked into).

    btw you don't need to identify an item to know if it's 2hand 1 hand ...

    Ye this is what I did aswel.. No getint or getfloat retruns anything useful. (even tho there is clearly an attribute named Axe2H Weapon2H etc etc..

    So Im going with the modelname approach (yes this works on unidentified items, but has no real use here anyway since you cant equip anything thats not identified)

    You need to get the game balance record for ItemTypes for the item. In there, you'll find 2 sets of 64bit ints which holds a flag of what type an item is. (Its a 128bit flag set) You may also need to check the inherited item (if any) to get the right flags. Reverse a bit!
