Before you ask why its edgesuite.net , rahter than battle.net extension, edgesuite is a information distributer for blizzard. Go search some forums if your unconvinced.

I don't understand why people prefer beta keys. Its much harder to trade because you can only verify it after the exchange / and once you use it will be bound (loads of potential for dispute)

For an account you can always verify the info my trading the password, then sending over the secret question answer after the transaction is completed. Ofcourse there is potential for account dispute but thats where forum reputation comes in.
