Blizzard Releasing Diablo 3 By End Of June

Per the blog below, it looks like D3 got pushed from a Q1 to a Q2 release from what Blizzard had said during their quarterly earnings call on Friday.

This article is kind of misleading. They say in the title "Blizzard releasing Diablo 3 BY THE END OF JUNE" This is done purely for ranking hits on the site from angry fans.

It's true Blizzard said they would be releasing the game in Q2, but we don't have a date yet. When we read this title, we automatically think the game will come at the end of June. But "sometime in Q2" could also mean April 1st. And they don't say that! The interesting thing about the title is that it doesn't lie either. The game could realistically come by the end of June, BUT they don't know.

I know it's a pain waiting for an official release date, but we have to avoid articles like this. Right now they know as much as we do.

Yeah I agree with you Zenubis. I do not think that they should have thrown a date like June in there, HOWEVER, it is SOMETHING. Without that article I would have no idea that they decided that it is going to be in Q2. Honestly, at this point that is enough for me. Haha.
