The video above is preliminary footage for Rainbow Six: Patriots, the latest entry in the Tom Clancy series of games by Ubisoft. Gamers will be required to make tough, split-second decisions to disarm situations. Apparently, there will be a ton of different outcomes for each mission, ranging from total failure to exceeding the impossible. While the footage above isn't actual gameplay footage, it has been designed to the capabilities of the current generation of consoles, and will be available on the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC in late 2012.
The game also features a co-op mode, but challenges will become progressively harder for multiplayer depending upon the individual skills of each player (which is measured by their achievements and records). Nevertheless, we're looking forward to getting our hands on this awesome title, what with having the piece of garbage that Modern Warfare 3 turned out to be.
I'd write more, but we don't have much more to go on at this point. There are some obvious changes that make "Patriots" a departure from the previous Rainbow Six games in the series, but the footage generally speaks for itself.
