    Not bad.
The GFX is a little dated.
You could upgrade to 2 x DDR3 4GB sticks, bringing it up to 8GB. Or 3 x 4GB sticks. But 8GB is generally good.
Most games will run better with 8GB RAM.

The GFX: a 570 will do very nicely. It'll handle BF3 well enough on medium with some high.
You could always SLi 2 x 570's. Or go for 1 580 (it will run bf3 on ultra, but you may suffer some frame issues).

Wait until upgrading anything else though. RAM and GFX can be moved onto a new system.
TBH: I'd wait until more 2011 CPU's come out. It'll lower the cost of previous-gen CPU's.

There's no big difference between the 570 and the 580. Just around 250mb memory. A 570 runs bf3 fine on ultra unless you have anti alising set to x8.
    Molested myself and got convicted.
