    binds unsuccessful

I keep getting this error when starting up logon.exe, its been bothering me for days and wont let me finish up my server

    [16:58][Arcemu]Bind unsuccessful on port 3724.
    [16:58][Arcemu]Bind unsuccessful on port 8093.

Ive looked around and all I ever see is explaintions like "ya you need to unbind those ports because something else is bound to em" which isnt very helpful imo.
so does anyone know how to unbind the ports? can you do it like port forwarding? Im on windows 7

Generally, it means that another program is using those ports. If your on a network, make sure no other computer is using those ports. If you've checked and nothing is running on those ports, check your firewall, and allow those ports to go through. If nothing else, you can change the default ports, but if you change the default login port, you'll need to tell your players to add the new port number to their set realmlist.

Make sure WoW isn't trying to patch in the background. It likes to use 3724.

I believe you can unbind that port through the same process as Port Forwarding, also as previous people in this thread said you want to check your firewall, and make sure another program isn't using it, or if you're using Hamachi to run your server make sure you have Hamachi open or your Logon.exe won't load, I believe it gave me the same error..

    Hope I helped, ZaZi.
