Another Enchanting Scam

After seeing this so many times in the game, I took advantage of it and made a 500g profit (Silly noobs, DON'T PUT YOUR KROL BLADE IN TRADE AND PRESS ACCEPT.) I will explain this method step-by-step.

1. Wait for the "LF someone to make my weapon glow"

2. Whisper them that you can, and that the weapon has to be BoE, and unequiped

3. Meet them, and tell them they have to give you the weapon first.

4. Hopefully their pea brain mind will make them give you the weapon.

5. /ignore, and run away with the spoils.

I realized the BoE was needed halfway through this, but whenever they ask, hope they got a new weapon, or tell them to, like say, "I can't make this weapon glow, get a new one"

So, yeah, this only works part of the time, when it does, the spoils can be excellent.

That weapon could of been fresh bought out of the AH, if not, just tell them to purchase a new weapon, because the "glow" doesn't work on that weapon.

These things will work on someone - it is a question of how long you have to keep trying till you find that certain person.

ultimately we all make too many assumptions about how much other players "must" know and we are often wrong.

You have to remmber we have a reasonable number of people buying gold - i would guess - and a fool and his gold are easily parted - not least becasue they will probably go on a spending sprea - and they are often in a hurry to upgrade their kit - leading to an increased chance of human error.

Another way to get people on this type of scam is simply tell them that the item will not be traded is only for lock picking skills - not for enchanting - or even that they will not get a glow if it is donr through - item will not be traded - it has to be boe unused and traded to you to enchant.

You can tell them that you cant steal it - becasue the game takes the item from your bag once it is enchanted and mails it to them instantly.
