Need help with Mac TBC

hello all. I have been playing on WoW private servers for a while now and i would very much like to create my own where i can just be a GM for a bit however, i have a mac with version 10.5.8. I have been searching for a good 3 hours now on youtube and google but i cannot find a good repack for my mac version, they are all for snowleopard. If i found one for leopard, the link was dead...can anybody help with a link? i need a WoW repack for Leopard and btw, i have only TBC, but patched up to 3.3.5a

Get linux, compile yourself.

THIS should work for any MacOSX version.
By the Way: You do not need to buy Woltlk or Cata for playing it on private servers I don't even own Vanilla, just downloaded it :P

wish i could, unfortunately im under a house where my dad controls what i get :P, begging him to upgrade me to a snow leopard

and goggy, i already tried that, needs 10.6 or higher mac, mine is 10.5.8, 10.6 is snow leopard

yea, so not gonna download snow leopard lol, not gonna risk it, yea, so if anyone can give HELPFUL comments or links, it would be appreciated, no b.s. comments about buying windows or other systems... plz

Well the easiest way is just begging your dad to get you Snow Leopard. If he wont do it, visit an Apple store and buy it?

You could set up a linux machine (free) on another hard drive if you have another one then run a server from there. You can boot from each disc (change in BIOS on computer start up) to effectively have two machines on one computer.

That's the only real solution for you if you don't want to upgrade and you can't find any emu that supports your OS.

its easy, in mac, you can change the required system version for a program, I posted something about it a year ago, check it out:

hmm, i tried it out with the emux from this site Download eMux for Mac - Install ArcEmu server for World of Warcraft. MacUpdate.com but nothing i changed would allow me to run it, gonna keep searching through the file but ive already changed every single number to 10.5 :P if u could possibly give me a tutorial for it i would greatly appreciate it

nvm, i actually went into my /System/Library/CoreServices/SystemVersion.plist and changed my whole mac computer to a 10.6, thanks for the help! it gave me the idea :P

k well apparently now the emux is having problems when downloading the database, which i discovered, so gotta wait till that is fixed ^^ its always something! oh well

UPDATE: for anyone still looking at these posts Emux is now fixed, at least on mine
