Problem connecting to my server

I'm having a problem connecting to my server. I set up my server and everything. I then changed my realmlist.wtf to set realmlist 127.0.0.1. When I try to log in, it logs into blizzards server instead of mine. In further detail, if I type my private server username and password in it says invalid password. when i type my regular WoW username and password it connects me to my actual WoW account with my level 85 on the server gnomeregan. I don't know why this is happening. I tried deleting my cache and wtf folder but that didn't work. Can anyone help me with this problem.

You are trying to login with an e-mail as your account name. Try making your account name something like "admin". It's on localhost so the password could be the same as the account name too for ease of typing.

Sorry for the late response. I don't think I explained it well. Even if I set the username and password as admin, it says invalid username and password. If I log in with my battle.net email and pass, it works despite the fact that in the realmlist file, all it says is "set realmlist 127.0.0.1" Its like it doesn't even matter what the realmlist file is set to because it always connects to blizzard's realms. I even typed in jibberish and deleted the realmlist file and I would not get the Unable to Connect message. It would always connect to the blizzard realms

Edit: I forgot to download the cactusemu patcher (Duh) now when I run the patcher with my server down I get the unable to connect message as I should. But when I put my server up I get the exact same problem. Invalid username and password with my private server info but connects to blizzard servers with my battle.net info

I would not try connecting to Retail with a permanently patched WoW. However, using a battle.net username will ALWAYS sign you on to Blizzard server.

Type this into the world server of cactusemu.

acc create admin1 admin1
acc set gmlevel admin1 3 -1

Try logging in with admin1, if that does not work, are you running both the authserver and the worldserver?
