Tim Howgego has created a virtual map of the MMO world; or at least his own interpretation of it. MMOwned is among bot coders, gold farmers, and glider in the continent known as "The Evil East".
Legend tells of the land known as the Evil East. The entire continent is held captive by the most dastardly individuals imaginable. Crime is a regular occurrence, and the only laws in place are those dictated by the pirates who have taken hold of the south bay. Here, the pirates control the economic climate of the entire island, robbing importers of their expensive goods. The pirates then distribute the goods over the continent, reselling them for cheaper prices; some even receive the goods for free for declared allegiance with the pirate crews.
Bordered by the barrens of the Private Server Wasteland, the unstable empire of Glider, and the wizardly kingdom of Emupedia, the proud nation of MMOwned stands stalwart against constant skirmishes on their coastline.
MMOwned's society is structured in a meritocratic fashion. Those who contribute and create interesting inventions or discover new ways to combat the fascism of the western nations will be rewarded with a social currency known as "Rep". Rep will allow the citizens of the nation to ascend through the ranks of society, and eventually rise to the highest caste, known as "Legendary". The Legendary men (and women) of MMOwned are proud defenders of their nation, and are gods among men. One Legendary has remained on MMOwned's coastline for many years. While he is an exceptional man, his most amazing skill is the power to transform himself into both a two-dimensional and three dimensional green giant. The green giant's presence along the coastline has kept the nation of MMOwned safe from pirate skirmishes for years.
The leadership of MMOwned consists of a council of federative administrators. Grand Councilor Ket and his two right-hand men "Matt" and "KuRIoS" hold an iron grip over all levels of society, but generally grant their citizens a great level of freedom.
There is a saying that those who wander into the East never return from the land. Perhaps it is true then, that the East is a place of savagery and hate. Perhaps it is a paradise ...
