How long is a Speedhack ban from Blizzard?

So I've been using the Amulti speed hack program for some fun in WoW and I just got caught by Blizzard in WSG when I was using the hack to cap the flag (used it more than 10 games.) I've received an e-mail from Blizzard but the person who sent me the mail sent it in German ... I translated it and it said the action taken was a warning.

Later I logged on to find that my account has been 'temporarily suspended', it's now been a whole day and I'm still banned. So my question is - does anyone know how long the ban is for? This is my first time using a hack like this - and I'd be surprised if I got permanently banned for just using it on WSG...

Cheers for the replies - and what were to happen if - lets say I used it again and again after the ban lift - would I be permanently banned then?

hard to tell, i ve had 72 hour bans couple of times.

i would not use it again if i was u bra go buy wow infinity much better and gets the job done. i used Amulit for like no more then 5mins and got a gm on my ass he was explaining to me why i was being banned and there was no one in that zone at that time because i checked to report me for anything 72hour ban

if same GM catches you again , its a permaban.. if its another , it could possibly be another 72 hours. Best not use it at all to be safe. Unless your account it worth the risk.

lets clear up some things:

1. gms normally don't check for hacks, they only report it to the team who does this job

2. your char can be reviewed at anytime and everywhere ..
not only by gms and other people but also automated software (serverside /not warden)
also it can be instant or take serveral weeks until your char is investigated.

3. every kind of ban/violation/etc is noted in your account forever

4. you get a 72 hours most likely if you got reported by another player,
and blizzard knows you using somekind of hack but have no idea what.
