Hey guys! This week in the MMowned Weekly we'll discuss the following things:

1. MMOwned Public Staff meeting & The Newsteam
2. New Staff members!
3. MMowned V2

1. MMOwned Public Staff Meeting

A couple of days ago there has been a public MMOwned staff meeting. In this meeting alot of things were discussed so I'll make a quick summary of what happened for all of you that couldn't be there.

To start with the most important people of the site (lol) the Newsteam is being reformed and changed in alot of different ways. Firstly we'll be making more articles about MMOwned and MMO's in general and less about members and countries. Secondly we'll be getting a newsteam leader who is going to be setting up meetings and who will also decide who will and who won't be invited in to the newsteam. This person will also have to remove inactive newsteam members. (Ohshit, gotta get active again!)

2. New Staff members!

In the staff meeting there has been made a decision to recruit more staff members and so we can welcome Maclone and Unholy[S]haman in to the team. For now they're called "MMOwned Helpers" which basically means they are mini-mods. For more information about this please visit This link

3. MMOwned V2

Not only did we discuss the newsteam but we also discussed MMOwned V2. You might be completely unaware of what will happen to MMOwned in a couple of weeks so I'll quickly update you before going in to detail.

MMOwned runs on a script called "Vbulletin". Recently Vbulletin has released a completely new version of their script called "Vbulletin 4.0.2". This new version is completely different from the one we have right now. If you want to see how it works you can check out our test site.

I agree with Betray and OddBall. Staff Meeting newspost said it all, aside from the helpers - which Glyn interviewed and gave more details on. No offence, but quality > quantity.
