DPS Class Herbalists - Huge amounts of Gold

Dunno if this has been posted before, but I just found out about this the other day.

In Skettis there are some huge elite Tree type elemental mobs known as Talonsworn Forest-Rager. They are 71-72 Elite mobs.

These things are rediculously easy to solo. I do not know how hard it is for mages/melee DPS but as a Shadow Priest I can kill them Easily. A friend of mine is a Warlock and he can kill them even easier, he hardly even has to try. Fly around Skettis to find them, you can find one a minute on average, especially if you have an epic mount.

Now, the reason to farm them. They basically drop no loot, however, their corpse is skinnable. On average, you will get up to 7-10 herbs, usually a combination of Dreaming Glory and Terrocone, which sell for around 1g a piece. On top of that, black lotus also drops off of them. The REAL money maker from these is that they also drop anywhere from 2-5 Motes of Life per kill. The average I have seen so far is 3 Primal Lifes in 10 minutes, which is upwards of 50g, as well as up to 30 herbs, terocone and others, which is another 30g. Thats almost 80g every 10 minutes depending on your servers economy.

Another nice thing about these is that if someone else kills them but is not a herbalist, you can go up and skin the corpse after them and get the herbs from them. It is easy to get hundreds of gold a day if you are smart at when you post on the AH and spend just a few hours farming, or less. I would estimate these to have roughly 30-40k health and they hit for 500-800 damage depending on your mitigation. They are also chain fearable, making them very easy to solo as a shadow priest or warlock, dunno about other dps classes but I'm sure it wouldn't be much of a problem.

k i know about them usualy farm there for primal water but ..i never try to kill one and i;m on alchemy and herb so will be nice if i can farm eazy:Pt ty for post

i farm these for hours on my mage not only to make money but i get the herbs i need for elixirs,flasks. and potions from them

Confirmed. I am a Surv hunter, and I had a holy pally help me grind on these. I got a stack of Mana Thistle, 3 Black Lotus (The old Lotus, pre-BC), a stack and a half of Dreaming Glory and Fel Weed. I also got about 10 pieces of Ragveil, a stack and a half of Ragveil and Terocone. I also 5 Primal Life, and each Primal only goes for about 10g, but hey, it's money . So yes, this place is an excellent grinding spot. I got all of the listed items above in about an hour and a half. These things dropped all the BC herbs except Netherbloom, but that's easy to find in Netherstorm. I would give you +REP, but someone a day or two ago posted this same idea, which is how I knew to grind these guys.

Nice spot. Easy as rogue but only if you have CDs ready. I usually use adrenaline rush on the first one, evasion on the next one. wait until AR is ready again and kill another one, then wait for evasion for next one etc.. works ok.
