[Area Change] Hylian Fields of Khaz Modan

Hey guys, this is my first area change, it's still in development at the moment, I need to swap some stuff around for buildings, fences and stuff.
Basically, I changed the wtlands tiles into those from Mount Hyjal, and changed the trees too /!\ Plethora of images /!\
this is taken from the graveyard not too far away from the dragonmaw gates.
another one from the area around the dragonmaw gates.
and another from the same area.
and another, this one features one of the wetlands Quest-givers.
Another graveyard somewhere, with big fallen trees :P
This is outside Ironbeard's Tomb (I think that's what it's called).
in the fens, I still need to work on those bushes.
the dwarven house in Black Channel Marsh, with some more massive fallen trees.
a bridge, this is the original wetlands bridge, I dunno whether to change it, I think it suits the area.
on the way into Menethil harbour.
the keep just inside menethil harbour, the fallen trees are starting to become a pest :P
the flight master by the docks.
just a pic of a fallen tree blocking the way into the keep ( an get in by jumping over it) I thought I'd get my mage in on this shot Mage says hi.
That's all the images for the moment, will have to update with a few pics of the dwarven farm up in the mountains, but I can't get up there lol, hence why I use my mage (Slow Fall)

As I said before, this is my first area change, done my following various guide meticulously
I might put up a DL when it's done, just tell me what u think of it at the moment.
Oh, and by the way, all of these pictures were taken on a live server supporting patch 3.2.2, soon to be 3.3

Edit: Yes, it changes the tiles in the dwarven farm too

Quote me if you came here expecting Zelda. :P

Anyways, nice job.. May I suggest not using the model for the fallen tree and just use a stump? Im pretty sure you don't know what taliis is either, so.. I won't get into that.

Sorry if I confused people, I'm a zelda fan myself, but I meant "Hylian" as in something from Hyjal, not Hyrule :P
Maybe "Hyjalian" would have been better, and yes I know what Taliis is, I downloaded it, read as many guides as I could find, but I was still too stupid to understand how to use it :S all of this was done just by swapping things over in MWCS.
By the way, good idea using just a stump model, but there are no stumps in the hyjal folder and I can't find any that look similar to the hyjal trees, I think I might have to do some .SKIN editing

Yup, I know I need a lot more detail :P but yes it's a work in progress.
Just want to make Wetlands more interesting

Tis gd to see that there are still people out there learning this. The more releases, the more inspiration = more contributions and activity ~ profit for mmowned.

May i suggest adding trees to the area? I appreciate you're probably at an earlier stage than actual world building but if you're going for a Hyjal theme then actually go for a hyjal theme. There are a more than sufficient amount of guides on adding doodads throughout these forums. Also, Skybox and names Guides on DBC editing are also frequent.

Gd luck on this m8. +Rep for the contribution.

Edit: Just noticed; no dirt in the screenies? If you're gona area change, do it properly, don't just swap every tileset for a Hyjal grassbase.

Thanks for the rep Sinnex I just noticed there's no dirt as well, I gotta learn not to rush things :P
Yes, I will add some trees to the area, I'm currently sorting out my files so I can get NoggIt to work properly, my laptop is a pile of crap :S
I'll get straight to work on sorting the dirt out and making it more of a hyjal-themed area.

    Edit: Dirt added

Edit 2: Added another picture to the plethora at the top of the page.

Edit 3: Blacked out the names in the third pic on this post to try and remain anonymous, feel free to read and lol at the whispers though

Nearly finished swapping some other things round to make it look better, then I'll try loading it into NoggIt so that it's not all just grass :P

Nice. I admire somebody who has the balls to add terrain changes and objects as well as swapping the entire zone, well, if its one of your first builds anyways!
May I also suggest one thing when you get noggit to work and you figure out how to add doodads via Cryects Tools or Taliis, If the Menetil walls are one object, may I suggest using a the seperate walls and towers. They will really add a 'New'look to the build.

    Can't wait for an update!

You might be waiting for a while for an update Hypno. I been testing it after I changed the wagons into the night elf wagon model, tested it out and when I ran around I kept hitting invisible walls, not being able to move, then getting a critical error after like 45 seconds :S
So I'm now re-doing it from scratch, and hoping that it won't f**k up again.

Still trying to get Noggit to work ( I have noggit 3.x.x), then I'll get round to adding some doodads... but today isn't my day :S

Edit: Swapped those annoying fallen trees to the stumps that you can find around teldrassil, will upload pictures when I've re-made and tested the patch.

Right, just re-done the whole patch and still got that damn invisible wall thing happening!
I'm not sure how to resolve this problem but in theory it might just be my computer.
So I'm asking, does some nice person want to test this for me to check if it's just my computer or if the patch is just messed up? If so, please PM me and I'll PM u back with the DL link.

Edit: Just realized, I should have edited this into the previous post, my bad :S

Tested with 3.3 and there are no-more Invisible wall bugs!
