    [World Building] Brightshore (Download)

    Hey. I realised lately that i havn't released a download for some time; so i threw this together (took me around 3.5 hours); basically a spinoff from Darkshore, the island's located directly North of Mathystra (shown in a pic below). Representing what Darkshore looked like previous to it being shrouded in darkness (Hyjal trees look VERY similar to Darkshore trees...).
    I'm presuming this will be usefull for many emulator-owners + developers in order to perhaps expand their lore :P (BTW Skybox changes in some pics is due to Teldrasil: The Veiled Sea consisting of contrasting variables to Darkshore: The Veiled Sea.






















    Oh and btw; i know perfectly well that me releasing a download for this will most certainly result in leechers talking and attempting to pass this off as their own work on other websites; perhaps even this one if they're tht stupid (which i'd love to see btw).

    Hmm, i think it needs more textures, like some dirt thrown around or something, it looks to "stright" in textureing.

    "Brightshore" <3 the Irony, Half of the screenshots indicate thats its a Dullshore.

    Lmao at Ground Zero :P Yeah, i totally agree. Looks nice in Noggit though... Will edit skyboxes. I'm still working on this...

    Do you mind if we not edit it, but just Num-0 and find some details from it? Like the path to maybe some houses or such? :O I cant see what harm that would do but anyways. Do you mind?

    I might sound like a dick, I admit, but sinx this is the first time I have not said "wow, how crappy does that look". Instead, I'm proud you could pull something like that off without having to copy stuff
    Far too few doodads still but as far as I can see that's the only flaw this area has. Nice work (and I'm pretty much the biggest "disser" on here when it comes to quality of level design)
    What EC aspirant work/demo did you get (speaking of the zone)?

    Posting it now m8 Only done one of the 12 ADTs, but will update thread with progress :P Will also speak to Eluo tommorow about just how tf it will be implemented into the lore or whether or not i'm re-creating a zone already within the storyline.

    Best thing'd be to stick to fewer ADTs, maybe around 2 or 3, that'll be perfectly fine. It's about creating a certain feeling/atmosphere. I guess once the forest style of yours is real good you'll be working closely together with the designers to lay out the forest zone and create that from scratch.
    It's the designers job to make it fit into lore and what's even way more important in EC: the ingame story and concept.
    So basically right now it's about you creating the style/atmosphere and then later on realizing a map and concept using this style - you won't have to worry about the area fitting into the whole thing, you'd be able to focus on your job completely.
    Just ask Eluo about that whole process and stuff
