Only changing my model

Is it possible to only change my character's skin and not other people's? Also, are the hair types/colours automatically predetermined based on your original hair? Thank you for info advance!

As far as I know, changing your character will also change every other character. If you change a skin, everyone else with that same skin will have the changes you made to it. If you change a race's model, everything of that race will change as well, players and NPCs.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by your second question.

I meant like, is there a way to get different hair after changing the skin because I don't like my hair.
