Keep scammed account question

2 80s


and a ton of level 70s with it

It was not merged into battle net.

I merged it

Was wondering is the account is completly mine now or do i need to do something else to keep it.

you should change the names with battlenet (first and last) so they cant recall but other than that your good just dont be over active i think..

erm, they dont really ban for sudden ip change, and being "over active" would just be a mistake on your part, by wasting your time, its a 95% chance he will still ring up blizzard and get it back.

you can change the name of battle.net all you want, they can recall the account easily, if they have their accounts info + their info (cd keys for example) and call blizzard and tell them they've been hacked, the account dissapears from your battle.net merged account.

Never said it was sure fire....just that you should do that if you want a higger success rate...

there is ONLY ONE METHOD into keeping scammed accounts. that is changing the last name on the WOW ACCOUNT.

this means changing your last name by MERGING TO BN (battle.net) is usless!... you have to change the actual original WOW account last name. this can be done by marriage certification.

Bnet accounts, yes u can change the last name on the battle net account but not the original WOW ACCOUNT LAST NAME i got caught out big time with this when they call blizz, all they have to do to get it UNMERGED is know all the WOW ACCOUNT INFO
( this is were ur bnet account means shit , its gay) e.g sqa, 1st and last name on the WOW account, the only problem with getting it unmerged is it takes several days, where the OO must send in PHOTO ID to prove its them. + rep if i helped in some way

So i send blizzard a marriage certificate telling them im married now and i have a new name? will a fake one work? And what if the owner if a guy, they dont change last name i think
