[HOW TO] Use Glitchy's Amazing ModelSwapper on a Mac

Welcome to my guide on how to Use Glitchy's Model Swapper 3.0+ on Mac

THIS GUIDE HAS BEEN MADE FOR MMOWNED AND DO NOT POST IT ON ANY OTHER SITE!

    What you will need
    -- > A Mac ( with Leopard )
-- > World of Warcraft (updated to 3.0.9)
    -- > Download Bandwidth
    -- > Simple MES Knowledge

    The Guide

    1. Download Glitchy's Model Swapper (Obtained here : http://www.mmowned.com/forums/model-...ompatible.html )

    2. Download a Program called "Darwine" (Obtained here : http://darwine.good-day.net/Darwine-x86-1.0.1.dmg (27.2MB) )

    3. Drag both items into your Applications folder

    4. Open up TRiX.app from your apps folder and you will see some Libraries that you can install, just check the .NET framework 2.0 and press install ( takes up to 4 minutes )

NOTE : Do not worry about the terminal window! Just dont interrupt it! Or you may be struck by the FAILDOZER, it will look like this :

    5. Next move the ModelSwapper folder to your applications folder and open the program, you will see something called X11 open and Darwine (LEAVE BOTH OPEN)

    6. When you start it up you will see this :

    7. Select your WoW Directory (usually Macintosh HD/Applications/World Of Warcraft), but mine is on an external hard drive).

    8. Allow Glitchy's MS 3.0+ to load it all and then use it like normal

    Enjoy!

Any Questions? Add me on MSN: [email protected] or PM Me, ( Glitchy will not be able to provide any Mac-Related support )

I hope this works...I really like macs. IT is a great operating system. But the only problem is that everything is for PC. I hope this will fix it.

EDIT: Ooh. I think it is working.

EDIT: You have to have a server with the tables "classobject" and "create_server", I think that's what it's saying...

It doesn't work. It can't execute the .EXE file.

Also, the space fluxuates as cache and other files expand. It is entirely normal. It doesn't download anything. Just understand that an EXE file is kind of like a ZIP file. It executes a process, but it can download and install some things also. This is normal.

As to where it is installed at, there is no installation place. If there was, it would be hidden, or is in the folders named "Drive_A", "Drive_B", "Drive_C", "Drive_D", and so on. In windows, these are known as "A:\", "B:\", "C:\", "D:\", etc. They hold the data used to make the operating system work (or in this case, the emulator). This is where the files would be located at. But most files are stored in the folder: "/Applications/Darwine/WineHelper.app/Contents/Resources/buildings". After the executed file is quitted, this install is deleted or after being instructed to do so.

With the most recent Darwine, the program will start up and load the items, but then gets an error where it cannot find Z:\Applications\Darwine\WineHelper.app\Contents\Resources\items.txt
