Thank you for reading my guide for making a instance need a quest or item to entry

Ok lets get down to work first you will need arcemu because i don't use mangos, if you want ill try and get mangos and make a guide for mangos as well but not now.

If you don't all ready have one you will need a database editor like navicat or sqlyog

Download - SQLyog MySQL Frontend, MONyog MySQL Monitoring Tool -- for sqlyog its a for mysql

Once you get navicat or sqlyog opened and installed it should ask you for a host/dns that would be localhost for you. then it will ask you for a username if you have it all right it should be root and the password would be what ever you set it to.

if you did everything right you can connect to your database

Once you get your arcemu database up you will need to have to look for a table called worldmap_info

One its open there will be a lot of stuff in it DO NOT DELETE ANYTHING if you do it will mess up your whole server.

if you scroll over to the right there will be stuff like

Required_Quest and required_Item

Set one of them to a quest you want the player to complete before getting in
