    Howto fix ".application has failed to start because the application configuration..."

    I searched the forums just-in-case for this.

    But for anyoen getting the
    "his application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect.reinstalling the application may fix this problem" error.

    Try installing dotnet framework 3.5

    If that fails to install with an error.
    try installing Windows Installer 3.1, first.


    Hope this helps anyone confused.
