First you need a lvl 35+
why 35?
Couse at lvl 35 you can have 225+ in a proffesion.

Then write /2 WTS Crusader/ lifesteal/ +dmg bla bla bla..

Then your victim says : Hey how much for X enchant on weapon?
You say : free if u bring me mats.

The guy go gets the mats.. He gives them to you.. And u ignore him.. Simple.. U cant get banned for this.. Couse u are not breaking a rule.. The guy gives u the items am i right?

But u should move server after u have scammed lots of ppl.. Else u get realy bad Rep

You will still have all gear and money when changing server.. Correct me if im wrong

And if you stay on that server you would only be known as a scammer and would prob be unable to join any guild =/

You are also breaking a rule , called scamming.

You are totaly right i am, thats exactely why a friend scammed over 9000g by doing this.. With out even a suspension.. So right im trying to get all of u banned u totaly busted me.. =S

Yes, you probably get band from doing this but i have no idea how youre friend got so much money with that... on my server some guy ninjaed Warden Staff (he's a mage ) and me and other party member flamed him in the general chat no1 wanted to buy the staff... it's probably same with enchanting mats but duno how this works on ur server

Well a day, ppl spammed the new LFG channel, and people got pissed.. but he were stilla ble to do such scams.. He gained BIG cash on it.. So how many of you guys could remember a scammers name? When you just write /2 WTB Crusader enchant.. And a guy says "I give you free if you got math" You hand over the math and now you are ignored.. U dossent look at the name do you? or at least not focusing on it =/

guys in euro - the rules say these in game scams will not be actioned by GMs unlees they are "systematic" Ij US you need to start appealing these bans becasue it is clear there is a lot of ambiguity.

The USA policy is a lot more negative towards scams - but it also means it is not robust and open to interpretation since you can be banned for lying. If you took bliz to court on this policy i don't think they would be able to avoid having to compensate you in some way - becasue it is just not reasonable to say you can be banned for lying in a game of fantasy.

I reckon indicividuals GMS are interpreting the rules to a wide degree so you get wide varitions in views on this.

You are spot on m8. Peopel tend to assume the way they react to situations is the way EVERYBODY reacts to them. If you do this when people advertise u will get a nibble i doesnt stop them screaming your char name allover the server - althoug hi have found saying to them - you dont really want to advertiase the fact you jsut lost 300g worth of mats to everyone do you ? They will think you are stupid. sometimes works.

plus people forget - things happen elsewhere - it is never as bad as you think unless you want a raiding guild and are not prepared to transfer. migrations also bring in new people and new $$

it Depends on who looks at this is a Scam or not... if you just say "Bring me materails" it could be looked at as they gave you the materails... Right when the trade is over say i need like 1000g for the enchant = P srry im typing while talking
