Witch Hunter Torment- Did 8588 damage

This is just a heads up because I have absolutely no idea how to reproduce this. All I can tell you is I am level 8 and this was regular 1v1 pvp. The guy was about to kill me and then BAM, he took 8588 damage from my skill "torment" as seen in picture ( I know its hard to read). Absolutely no idea how but just know theres something out there.

Kinda hard to see from the picture, as i dont go that class, i have no idea what torment even does...

If you can find a way to reproduce it id gladly go one then

Torment is one of WH's main attacks. It ignores armor if behind a target.

That being said ill give some more info about what was happening. Destro was attacking an order, the order was afk. I arrive when order is at 20%. Destro kills order, then turns to me. Destro is level 11, im 8. Destro is DOK so outheals my damage and gets me to about 10%, hes at about 90%. Then Destro is dead and I have no idea what happened so i check the combat log to see myself do almost 9000 damage. That's all I know about it.

Are you sure the DoK didn't get Chickened? He may have been bumped up to level 12 by some rogue XP mid-fight. Not sure if the Chicken debuff would account for all of that damage, but it might.

I'm pretty sure the guy didn't get enough XP to level all the way to 32 ( the level you get chickened in a t1 zone )

No, Magnus uses the Core ruleset. You are chickened in T1 at 12.

He was level 11 and definitely not chickened since he was pvping the last person just fine, not to mention we were fighting for a while before it happened

I've once been chickened sub-12 in t1, basically if you stray too far into the opposing sides newb area you'll be chickened. This was on open-rvr so not sure if it applies to other server types.

Still doesn't account for that much damage, even with 0 armor you can't somehow do more damage then allowed by your stats. Now one thing I do see is that you have the victory buff, maybe somehow someway the victory buff stacked upon itself multiple times in a split second causing you to do that enormous amount of damage.

When I got chickened that first time at 11. I tried fighting a level 2 boar. he hit me for 600. I think there is a hidden dmg vuln in addition t the stat reductions.
