Right from blizzard themselfs, the funny thing is... I got busted for botting in BG's. (When you have gear on 2 dif chars, you could care less)

^^ considering you get caught (from a guy who's nearly levelled 7 70's from glider)

WoW actually changed their TOS to specifically reflect bots due to the MDY vs Blizzard case,

it's really really unlikely imo you will be caught if you have half a brain about what you're doing

shame - most these people are banned for using a simple AFK bot, that hits spacebar and opens bags up .. while us gliders and other advanced bot users are going 24/7 in bg's and earning 35K+ honor a day and the full 100 marks.

I feel sorry for the people getting banned using an anti-afk .. I've glided two full guys in s2, and all ive ever heard said/whispered regarding me is 'omg you pwn', and 'ty for the heals'. one guy said 'l2 stunlock' .. but the joke was on him as he was talking to a bot.

with the addition of aimlbot for glider which will have full automated conversations with other players for you (and be quite realitstic about it) .. your chances are very low, short of if they ever detect you.

If you bot, at least be smart about it - the fact you get banned, is just plain obvious.

Just like if you sent a tape recorder/player to your work place to do your work for you, no doubt you'd be fired.
