[How to] Make and use lag to your advantage.

Ok hey everyone we are going to make a "Lag switch" or "Magic switch". Don't flame me please, i am just contributing to the comminity and if you flame it will make me cut myself hehe. So we are gonna make a lag switch out of household products, and its gonna work well. Basicly what it does, (if its not self explanatory) is you have a switch in real life, and you can turn it on and off, when you turn it off, the lag starts. When you turn it on, (which you wanna do so you can play your game lol)

Materials
1. Ethernet cable


2. Exacto Knife

3. A light switch (You want the metal shit)

4. Wire striper

5. Electrical tape



Where to buy this shit at (Quickest way to go)
1. Radioshack (ethernet cable)
2. Homedepot (Eletrical tape, wire stripers, light switch, Exacto Knife, just relized now you also need a Screwdriver)

Steps

(Start in the middle- towards your computer, so you can click it when ever)

1. Cut into the ethernet cable with the exacto knife so you have enough cut to strip the cable (BE VERY CAREFUL, AND DON'T CUT ANY OF THE WIRES UNDER THE CABLE)

2. Cut off about 5-8 inches of the ethernet wire(What ever color it is, blue, black, or green)

3. So now your going to see a orange wire, an orangy whitey wire, blue, and a blueish, green and a greenish, you want to cut the ORANGE ONE, NOT THE ANY OTHER ONE OR ELSE YOU CAN'T USE IT ANYMORE, MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT CUT THE ORNAGEY WHITISH ONE.

4. Now that you have cut the orange wire, un-ravel the orange and orangey whiteish wire, So now you have a orange one that is cut in half and is un-raveled.

5. NOW there is more things under the orange wire (its just like those endless boxes lol) Now this is the hardess part of the hole thing, take our wire striper and strip the orange wire, there is a copper wire under that, strip off about a inch or two. So now you have the Copper wire sticking out of the orange one.

6. Take your light switch, and take the side with two screws and losen them up, then tie the 2 copper with orange on the rest of the wire, and tie the copper wires around the two screws, then tie eletrical tape all around the lightsiwtch, on the botom, sides, not on the top, because you need to use the top as a switch, so you cant tape it down. And it should look something like this.
EXCEPT YOURS WILL BE ORANGE!!!!


Now a few things, i tried to use colors that won't burn your eyes, um, if you need any more help use this video.

Q: How does this help me for world of warcraft
A: Well, if you use dots, you can throw them on and just lag around, they can't attack you because it will tell them that you are out of range, also if they are casting against you, you can lag move.

Q: Can i get banned for this?
A: 100% not, blizzard would pick this up as "Bad connection"

Q: Well whats the worst that can happen
A: You get dis-connected from holding the lag switch down to long

Q: What is the longest i can hold it down for?
A: 3-5 seconds depending on your connection, i have a 400$ modem, i can hold it down for 10-15 seconds, without dis-connected.

A: Light switch: 6$
Wirestriper: 10$
Screwdriver: 3$
Ethernet cable: From 5$-50$+
Exacto Knife: 4$
Total: 28-50$+, i spent only 35. So its very cheap.

A: Every game you have that is online , PS2, PS3, Xbox, Xbox 360, PC games.

Q: How does this help me on other game systems?
A: Same idea as the one i just explained to you, it works well in ONLINE shooting games, I.E. Call of duty, Socom, Warrock, Counterstrike and much more.

Q: Why is this in bots/programs
A: Because its a program, but its a real life program. Think logicly about it

Ok but now they have a choice if they wanna run a program on their computer or if they wanna build something, if your saying this isnt as good as flying piggys, i dis-agree. This can be used for everything that uses internet, flying piggys can only be used on computers.

Yeah you can use this to "port" yourself with limited results, i used it to get my kara key solo, i used netlimiter for that tho. Using lag to your advantage 'works' on pretty much all client-server models, it brought hell to the Halo universe tho that was different from this since the game server was de-centralised.

Hehe, nah I can see the uses of this, just that I hate physical things taking up space. I'd much prefer a program.

( plus, no warden on mac so no problem for mac users^^)
