The mage spec you saw is now being followed by every mage in Nihilum instead of the normal PVE build. Whether or not it has an advantage over Black Temple mobs I don't know. Anyone like to guess?

there must be a reason for the specc all the nihilum mages are running this build, possibly its best dps, i for one struggle to understand it, but with a 30% crit rate 1000+ fire dmg and spell power, the DPS you put out is going to be outrageous.

what i dont get is they are totally PvP specs, without arcane meditation and some of them not even with clear casting.

really dont get it.

I raided for a little while with arcane/frost. It is a great build, on moroes I was popping out 4-4.5k frostbolts with and without arcane power. But i enjoy full frost alot more. =/

The mage's spec is actually very good. Mine is almost the same exept i have blazing speed, imp fire blast, and that incinerate thing (+scorch and fireblast crit) but i got that for arenas. With the spec, you can do loads of burst damage and the spec adds 9% crit chance which helps too.
