I havent seen this posted on here at all-- this is a method of changing some settings in your computer to drastically reduce your Ping while playing WoW-- mine went form 285 ms all the way down to 115 ms when I applied this method
GUIDE......
STEP 1. Open Regedit (click Run in windows XP, or just enter it in the white bar in vista)
Click the following...
LOCAL MACHINE> SYSTEM> CURRENT CONTROLSET> SERVICES> TCPIP> PARAMETERS>
IN THE INTERFACES FOLDER- you will notice a bunch of random files-- go through all of the DWORD files (the blue ones) and make sure the hex is set at 1 on all of them! this is crucial or this method will not work!
CLOSE THAT SCREEN OUT AND RETURN TO DESKTOP
STEP 2: Click CONTROL PANEL> UNINSTALL PROGRAMS> TURN FEATURES ON/OFF
Within this window- Select MSMQ and then select MSMQ SERVER
REBOOT YOUR COMPUTER!!
STEP 3: GO BACK INTO REGEDIT and scroll all the way back down to parameters!
STEP 4: WITHIN PARAMETERS- Create a bran new DWORD file called "TCPNODELAY" and assign a HEX of 1 to it as well
RESTART YOUR COMPUTER AGAIN!! LOAD WoW AND ENJOR YOUR NEW PING!
I explained this as well as I could-- if there is any confusion feel free to ask me for help :-)
