Do I need WOW installed on Private Server Host?

Urgent!!! PLease can anyone help. I am renting a Virtual Private Server but only get 10gb disk space. Do I need WOW and BC installed on the server to run the server or do i just need the extracted maps? Please can anyone help this is urgent I need this up and running.

No, just the maps, dbc and all the stuff you would normally need on a server.

Okay is it possible to download the maps as i don't have enough room for the entire game atm.

Tbh, it's illegal to upload Maps, DBC and host the private server overall. But you might find them somewhere...

Tarleton, try Google or somethingÉ Or look around RageZONE, they link anything they want there xD (Not saying restrictions on Torrents are a bad thing)

Tarl, you don't need. You just need to have the Maps folder extracted and should be around 1.35GB, DBC Files for your Emu and Other server files like Restarter, logon server, etc.

No WoW is needed at all.

I have an thread With Trunks , Database and vMaps .. It is an extractor that you put in your wow folder then it starts to extract maps.
