Need Tor help please

So i recently got tor because i figure it decreases my chances of getting caught.

On firefox, I go to What's My IP Address? Your IP is 206.71.153.240 and it works, because i get an error. However, if I have Tor enabled and i use IE i go to that same site and my real IP is shown. I'm thinking, is Tor only running for Firefox?

Someone with experience, please help.

well its only embedded in firefox you have to program it to work in IE also internet web based proxies work well, check out proxy.org

It's not that i want it to work with IE, I want it to work with everything including wow.
