How to Upgrade Your Server to 2.4.3 [Ascent]

I've seen a ton of people trying to find this guide and saying that none of the other guides are working so I decided to put one together that is REALLY SIMPLE.

First Download the ArcEmu Core: Download Arcemu_r447.rar

Next you just open up the file and extract everything to your ascent folder (say yes to anything it asks to overwrite.

Then you can either move or delete; ascent-logonserver.exe, ascent-realmserver.exe, ascent-world.exe and all of their config files.

Then open up the folder Configs and edit those config files to what you'd like.

Now go to the sql_update folder and extract the three SQL's to somewhere convenient.

Now go to Navicat and go to the logon database and Execute batch file character_table, hten extract the other 2 into ascent.

Then Start up the server with MYsql, Apache, arcemu-logonserver, and arcemu-world and everything should work fine just like normal

There you go!

ArcEmu and Ascent are basicly the same thing,sane strucure,ect

But ArcEmu seems more stable is works with 2.4.3 and Ascent does not

Edit: Ok I downloaded it, changed all the config files. was able to start the server and log in but when I clicked on my character it loaded almost to in game then took me back to character select screen and said "login fail". Why?

Thats Becuase the charcter DB and Account DB need to be updated as well

Cool i deleted all the stuff i made from my friends guide to a private server cause i updated to 2.4.3 but I'll try this... also has anyone found the updated account db and character db?
