[HELP] How to restart server without owner

Well this isnt realy my question , but the server i play on went down and the owner is away. There is a admin on with Db access But he doesnt know how to restart the server from the DB. Is there a way? If so please tell. will +Rep for help.

It depends on what the issue is. But in general its not possible to do so... you see the db just holds the information its not the process that is "the server". To restart the server you would need more then just db access you would have to set up some sort of VNC or remote desktop to restart the process. I assume that ascent is the same way ... since im basing my knowledge off of a mangos server. Im sorry i can't help you anymore but it just not possible to start a server with just db access. You need to have the abilty to restart process which i doupt you have ... sorry.

To start up the server again, you will need remote acces.

The database isn't binded to the server core in any way. (expect that the core is taking information from the database)
