Help accidently changed Password To database

So i was trying to add an account into my SQL database through Navicat and somewhere along the lines i accidentally changed the password to the main account so its root and some password i don't know what the heck the password is. Can anyone tell me if there is a way to figure out where the file is located with my user name/password?... or do i have to delete everything and re install the server and stuff?
