PPather Task Files

Well I've been a member for a while but just like last week started visiting the site as im thinking about starting to scam so I figured I should contribute.

EPL is for the first Tirion Fordring Quests by the river
WPL is the Scourge Cauldron quests; its kinda buggy cuz of of all the mobs and tbh I didnt use for more than the first one
10-18 or wtv is Darkshore and it should be able to train in Darnassus if you are druid if not just change the trainer names and location or just take it out of the task file

those are the ones that I use so far and these two are from other pers but really well written you should use them if you are trying to start scripting your own files
MaDd - 1-20 UD file

you have to rename them to tasks.psc in your glider folder but if you know how to use pather you know this already

Hey! It's awesome that you are making an effort to contribute but

I just wanted to let you know, that I am pretty sure if you had Searched Ppather, or Pather,

you would have found one of my posts that actually includes a guide, and way, (website)

to get any and every Task File. Now of course there are still some bugs because

it is currently in it's early years.. but it does include your 2 listed Task Files, as

well as every other one out there.

By the way, I'm sorry if this came out like a flame of any sort.. was just trying to let you know

that unless they are personally-made Task Files, they are more then likely already

out there..

What Is PPather?
PPather is an advanced custom class, well that might be a streach.
It's more like a new program/language to make better classes and things along those lines. It opens up WoW MPQ files to see objects and things in the way, what does this mean? NO MORE STUPID PATHS AND LOWER BANHAMMER CHANCE!!! Now I could go into depth, but that will be later.

There is some stuff from a previous post I saw.
But basically, if you know what Glider is, Glider is more for Speed leveling where PPather is more for safety. PPather actually does go slower for leveling but it is way smarter and in some cases more advanced. So, although it does level slower then just simply Gliding, it will lower your chance of being caught, because you look more like a real player.

There are many more features, but one that many people seemed to love, was the fact that it will NEVER get stuck more then once in the same spot. It can take any where from 1-4 hours to COMPLETELY learn a WHOLE ZONE. But it would not take any where near that long to learn a spot or area.
But basically, if Ppather runs into an obsticle while gliding, it will remember exactly what happened, and PPather will NEVER make the mistake again.

Btw, sorry for posting this in your thread Adamtherien if you take this as spam. I was just trying to help answer a question and I didn't think it would be nessicary to make a whole new thread of my own, to do so.

And also, for any one that may want some more information, I do have 2 other threads. One of them basically explains how to set up/use PPather, and then my other post, is mainly for once you have it set up, but it wouldn't really matter if you were interested. The second thread is about how to get/use any Task File using Taskparser.

and task parser afaik only does one quest at a time? you have to re write them including the info from that site to make files that will chain quest / train or taxi. so yeah for instance the EPL file i posted has quests from taskparser but it has three of them written together so that it does them all then turns them in instead of one at a time. and that 1-20 file is everything inc training and quests all written together which you wont find at tp.com

so basically once you have been doing it long enough it shouldnt be so much as 'i have every task file out there' so much as 'i have one file that takes me from 1-70'

Now all this means is... COPY AND PASTE THE QUEST PICK UP!!!!! I did this while I was working on a new 1-70 I am realsing soon just need to get in touch with a great programmer and finish up the task files first ( I need alot of help I only have 1-8 BE done so far and alot of grinding profiles I would like to aviod so if you want to help me ask and I will tell you what you could do and mabey teach you a few things if you need it)so if you want to help *cough Jchunx cough* please pm me.

i dont quite get what PPather is.. what does it add to glider?

its the same idea as glider except you dont tell it a route to take just an area to grind. it auto paths around the area avoiding obstacles and learning the spot; it can also train and take FP's if you get into the task files
