This is sorta obvious... but its really good
In silithus, if you go to the northwest corner, there are 3 different kinds of elementals, and they all drop GREAT ah items... what not many people know, is that the drop rate on essence of air (1g a piece) has beein raised a crazyyy amount. off a normally 7% drop, i got 7/10 times a drop... in only 3 minutes (at 60!) this is best using a mage, since you can aoe about 10-15 of these at once (if youre 70)... my mage friend got about 20g per pull! and the pulls take about 2 minutes!

Ahh the old silithus elementals, used to be a bot swarm pre TBC.

I went to farm the Air Elementals after reading about it on another site, I was after the Breath of Wind to sell on the ah.

After about 2hrs of farming I ended up with the following:

25x Breath of Wind
79x Essence of Air
100+ Core of Elements
15x Elemental Air

The Core of Elements and Essence of Air seem to be the only ones selling on AH.. I put up the Breath of Wind and eventually sold them all at 6g a piece.

Overall, it's not a bad place to farm but i think I've had better luck farming Motes of water at Skettis and Mote of Air in northern SMV. I suppose this is entirely server dependent.
