Hi i custom model of orange raptor on blue only in game it is all time orange plz can you help (icq-380-789-221) thx
Can I ask you a question before I decide to help?
Why are you so retarded?
no i not retard the help me i download new druid forms and thei dontwork too
in Mywarcraftstudio i find raptor (common.mpq) i extract changet to jpg edit colors back to blp in MWS i create patch-11.mpq and editet blp save in it
Hm ok. I guess i got what your problem might be ... well, and if I didn't get it right ... the reason could be your cryptic way of writing English...
1. Don't change the texture into a jpg. jpg images are compressed which can cause errors with alpha channels etc.
Use a .blp converter to convert it ... I guess that there should be a link to some of them in the tools section. I'm using the BLPConveter.
2. Don't edit your skin with the default Paint ... use Paint.net or GIMP instead (freeware) or other tools like Photoshop / Corel X3 Graphics Suite. Helps to avoid errors lateron.
3. Reconvert the texture to a .blp
4. use MyWarcraftStuido to create a new .mpq (hint: a better name for mpqs is patch-<letter>.mpq (e.g. patch-b.MPQ) instead of patch-<number>.mpq (e.g. patch-3.MPQ) - and spell the MPQ in capital letters, it will help to avoid detection of your edits by Warden) and import your texture.
Important:The texture must have exactly the same path it has in the common.MPQ. I don't know the path of mounts by heart so you'll have to look it up.
5. Save the archive and move it to the Data folder.
6. Now it should work.
