this is my method workaround anyway (that worked for me):
so after the warcraft 3 patch i started rumbling around a night to make it work again so here are a few steps i tried , hope it works and for you too:
go into regedit at this line
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Blizzard Entertainment\
and delete all of it including Blizzard Entartainment
now dont forget to delete and warcraft 3 beta folder from the documents settings
and then go to C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local delete battle.net and there
then get something like iobit uninstaller and uninstall the game then the blizzard app
now get ccleaner and clean the registry files
and restart your windows firewall to default setting
now restart your pc in any case
get from this torrent the old version that has not been patched
warcraft-iii-reforged.torrent - Google Drive
now after downloading the game put forge.exe into the game in the x86_64 folder run it and wait the game will start press offline and if install bonjour appears click install and it will pop up a window about blizzard press run and after that the firewall will prompt the game to you to allow acces you just cancel and get back in the game and quit and were not done yet
now download this file
wc3runlocker.exe - Google Drive
you will have to put it on the desktop and now create a shortcut of warcraft 3 executable found in the folder x86_64 on the desktop and add the follow commands to it -launch -uid w3b
now run wc3runlocker.exe then the warcraft 3 shortcut with the commands you have put in -launch -uid w3b
i hope this will work for you guys as well
