Niantic unbans "some" accounts

I may be late to the mix, but yesterday Niantic announced that they unbanned a bunch of accounts. See here Pokemon GO.
I checked out some of my accounts and all my 30+ are still banned, however my 20-29 accounts were reinstated. Everything is still there, stardust and some pokemon, but the sick twist is that the 100% iv pokemons that I sniped are all gone. Probably every sniped pokemon are gone.

No, I did not file any appeal ticket for any of the accounts. They just got unbanned by themselves.

my guess would be, its because of those refunds they feel ....! So by unbanning some account, they want to say they care but I don't believe that.

Yeah, I hope people keep it up with the refunds. I want my main account to be included in the next "unban wave" lol.

Posting here to also confirm one of my accounts that was Level 25 that used NOX on the PC with for most of its play time was also reinstated yesterday. They even sent me a ban e-mail a few days after the account was originally banned. But I heard of them unbanning accounts so I checked all of them and the ones I used to bot with were still banned but this one that I only spoofed with, no snipes or anything of the sort, was reinstated and I can play normally on it again.

Niantic doesn't make sense. -.-

The only thing this "unbanwave" proves is that even Niantic is just as greedy as other developers. They will now turn a blind eye to botters and spoofers as long as you don't abuse it. Some of my unbanned accounts were 100% botted.

Probably unbanning people because they've lost over 15 million players in a month and dropped significantly on free app purchases.

I used nox only and i got banned in the 3rd wave (which is the last and most recent i think), and my account is still banned

I havent been banned yet :P maybe its because i spent like 10$ on pokecoins lol. 3 bag and 3 pokemon storage upgrades.

Same. i think i got banned last monday too. And till now, i didn't receive any email or so from them. Do this unban stuff comes in wave or just that 1 day?
Anyone got unbanned in this last few hrs?
